If you are referring to some of the new red-dot finders from like those from Burgess and William Optics, it should be noted that these are sturdy metal gun-site finders with selectable reticles. The $30-and-under finders are plastic with a single dot. I have the latter and have held the former in my hands and, believe me, there is a world of difference in built quality.
