Hi all
This image was taken on Saturday night, 26th May in excellent conditions. There's more data to go through but this is indicative of the quality of the session.
There's a bright white spot in the NNTB that I haven't noticed in my images before - is it new?
12" newt on EQ6, DMK21AF04 + 5x powermate. FL ~ 10,360mm.
Attached is a native size and a 150% upscaled version. More to come in the next day(s). Loads of data to go through!
Thanks for looking.

Not sure about the white spot. I've caught a white spot in that area recently, but it could be a different one.
From May 8th (upside down from yours)
Great shots Mike!!!

Thanks again for the feedback.
I was wrong about the white spot in the NNTB, it's been there for some time. I should pay more attention
I'm generally not a fan of upscaled images as they never look as sharp, but sometimes they come out ok. I captured some Jupiter with an extension tube but it was too big for the 640x480 window!!

I definately think this one was worth upscaling. I really like it.
I'm usually downscaling my Jupiters to 75%. When it gets higher in alt. I shouldn't have to do that anymore.

Yeah that spot I captured on 11 May with the SDM.
Nice work, I prefer the native scale myself, seems sharper.
