I was observing Moon this evening. Details near terminator where terrific as always so I decided to make a sketch. I randomly picked one crater. It looked like it was surrounded with very high walls because shadows where filling almost half of the crater. Later check in the Virtual Moon Atlas showed that it was Gutenberg crater. Too bad that I didn't sketch larger area around this crater because on sketch that wonderful 3D feeling is lost.
I used 6mm Plossl on my 8" F6 Dobson. Sketch was made around 18:15 UT

Great sketch you got in there good and close. And it does have a 3-D effect with the shadows. It must have taken you at least 30-45 min to make this sketch. Well done.
