What do your binos weigh, and how much do you want to spend? I have the Universal Astronomics Unimount Light Basic on an Oberwerk aluminum surveyors tripod. Package price was around $500 but the maximum load for it is around 8lbs. It's solid as a rock, the movements are smooth, and it makes viewing very comfortable. You can go cheaper or more expensive depending on equipment weight and axis variations.

Jack, I use a Bogen 3221 tripod with a Bogen 501 head for my 22x100s. More than adequate for your 25x100s. Its very smooth and very stable, and reaches high enough for me to stand directly under it and view the zenith (im 5'11") Though not as comfy as a parallelogram im sure, its not as expensive either. Check out the "best of" post....lots of info and opinions about this.
Best price ive seen on the combo I have is at Etronics.com $314.99 u.s.
Good luck

Universal Astronomics is now quoting a 10 lb capacity for the Unimount Light Basic. I have my 20x90s on one and they are about 9 lbs. I am quite happy with the way the mount carries them.

The above two suggestions are probably the best choices for a 25x100, depending on what you like.I use the same parallelogram mount mentioned above, a UA Basic on a surveyor tripod and I use a Bogen 501 head on top of a set of 3246 legs. If you choose tripod head and legs the Bogen 501 is a wise choice. It'll easily handle the load.

From the Main Index, go all the way to the bottom of the list of forums. You will see the photo galleries. Look in the Binocular photo gallery. There are several user photos of the Universal Astronomics Unimount Basic mount.

Best mount? That's easy-- p-mount! BUT, if cost is a factor, which it nearly is, then I agree with what most people are saying here. And that is the bogen/manfrotto head-mount. You can't easily see zenith with that setup, but it's do-able.

Hi,
Well, I own and have used the T&T 3-arm mount with the 25x100s I had for a while (they are currently loaned out at the moment). This costs $285 which includes the crutch tripod. I think this is the least expensive alternative out there.
One downside is you have to decide if you will observe standing up, sitting or lying on a lounge chair. The tripod is not adjustable so you have to decide at the time of order. I had mine fit for lying on a lounge chair.
Hope this helps,
