I'm guessing not. I think the 40 or so years it spent in a barn stunted its growth permanently!

Nice collection Kkokkolis.
We will have to have a name for more than one scope.
How's about "A Viewing of Scopes".
Regards. Peter.

Collective noun...
An EXPENSE of telescopes?
An ALIGNMENT of scopes??
An ACCESSORY of scopes???
Am OBSERVATORY of scopes is too obvious I guess. I kinda like the first one although when observing a solar eclipse, the second one rings the truest!

Greetings everyone. My first post... here's "Mielikki", as I affectionately call her.

It's depicted with a 1.25" 30mm Plössl and the default diagonal mirror, instead of the 2" dielectric mirror I bought a few months ago and worths its price (and weight :P)
(PS: yes, I know the room was chaotic when I took the photo)

Hi Maverick and welcome to the Nexstar forum,
Nice looking scope. Thanks for posting.
The room look great too. I see you follow the male adage, Where it lands, it stays. A man after my own heart (when I can get away with it).
Regards. Peter.

Why don't women understand that whilst it may LOOK like a mess, we basically know that the thing we want is in THAT pile?
They try to be helpful (bless 'em) and "tidy" things up for us, but then they are puzzled when we can't find stuff that we are looking for
Never understood that in 31 years of marriage.
Anyway, welcome to Mav and his scope. Thanks for posting on CN and the NexStar forum.

PS Room looks OK to me too

It's not only wives I have a father in law that does the same to my garage and sheds. I think his "system" is stupid. I know where my stuff is, and is organised according to good work flow. The wine is just inside the door on the left, the beer just inside the door on the right and the beer fridge next to the wine. Tools get used less frequently and so are further in the garage. FIL's system, hang everything of everything else so that to use the step ladder I have to unstrap everything he has carefully strapped to each rung. He also likes putting everything in boxes inside boxes inside boxes with no labels. I get my own back with the missus because when she asks for something to be done , I ask her to find out from her father where he put it. Last time he tidied up he threw all my old crocks away that I use to create drainage in my clay pots, he could not understand why I would keep broken pots!!
Mind you he has a heart of gold even if his logic is somewhat screwed up.
Regards
Rob

Oh Man that sounds so familiar
My wife & mother think that "tidying up" means crating as much space as posible - so unlabelled boxes of things (like tools, packing material, flowerpots (!), paint tins, battery charger, etc) are stacked infront of things like the lawnmower, ladder, Workmate
It looks nice I have to admit, but practical, it isn't!
Just one word sums it up really - Aaaarrrrggghhhhh!
