Bought these from sportsmansguide for $80.
I used them for one night and sent them back the next day.
The narrow FOV is just too restrictive (it was around 30 degrees at low power). I'd rather have lower power and wide FOV's.
Additionally, objects were sharp at low power and fuzzy at high power.
The optics were decent - banding could be made out on jupiter, and the coatings were ok - only one ghost jupiter.
Fit and finish was good, no problems with quality - just not well suited for astronomy.
NOT recommended.

Exactly what I found from the pair I purchased at Big 5 and also returned the next day.

Bigbinoculars has a pair of Oberwerks that have the same zoom and are 70mm but state they have 3.4 degrees at 12X. I'm thinking of ordering them sometime soon.

I didn't like them at first. First I Collimated them as described in Cloudy Nights, then put them on a tripod. The narrow view is difficult sometimes, but for spotting a particular object and them zooming in I like them, they easily split Alberio for example. Not earthshaking but for some quick viewing a good deal at 100. I compared them to a pair of Oberwerk 10-30 zooms I gave my brother and we both felt the Barskas were clearer, even the though the Obies have Bak 4 s

IMHO there is not a good ZOOM binocular on the planet. This might go a long way in explaining why you don't see words like "Zeiss," "Leica," and "Swarovski" used in the same sentence with the word "Zoom."
Cheers,
Bill
PS the Leica Duovid is a dual power--not a zoom.
