Hi Grizz,
I have a pefectly good SAFIX here and am wondering if you would want to borrow it for a few weeks and tell us what you think. Nice to get a non-owners perspective on this.

Sure. Thats a very nice offer. It would be fun  I'd like to check my scopes spherical aberration. And see what the SAFIX will do. I guess I can e-mail you offline with my mailing info? And what not.

I am very tempted to put my order in  . I am pondering a rooftop observatory just like jrcrilly has done. My roof is almost flat and it would be a great home for a 14"er  . I worry about heat currents off the roof.
So I'm still in the pondering stage. Also the WAF has to be taken into account!

Since July 15. Ten months now, and the longer I have the CGE before the call comes the more likely it is I won't need the Meade. Anybody want to buy an early number?

Yes finally got it out the other night. I'll give my impressions soon. Its in the box and I'll send it out this weekend. Sorry it took so long but my weather has been horrible and when its been good I've had to work (nights).
