Pacific NW Mt. St. Helen's Eterna-Thread, Part 2
      #1904498 - 10/12/07 01:01 AM

Per this post about locking and restarting the long threads, here's a new thread for the Pacific Northwest Mt. St. Helen's Eterna-Thread.

The original Mt. St. Helen's Eterna-Thread can be found here, locked but still available to read and copy pics if you wish.

Chat on, folks!

Oh geez, guys. It's not like we're stopping the threads altogether. What good would advance notice do? You both have to admit that opening the old thread was starting to take longer and longer. Happens that way with all the big threads. And the more of those there are, the harder it is on the whole CN server.

This is the way its gotta be.

It's not nice to mess with me at 1:00 in the morning when I know I have less than 5 hours of sleep ahead of me...whole threads could mysteriously disappear...

Here, let me add one more post to your thread.

I caught Steph messing with our threads last night. She doesn't know what she has in store for herself when she gets here this evening.

(I see a funny Op here)

The only real sad thing here is, neither of these *NEW* threads were actually started by rboe or skycaptain...

So it appears more like a *hearding*, then an ingenious spontanious thought from an individual amateur astronomer...

It has the feel of a crude *rat race*, where the unseen *wager*, sets the caged *rodants* loose, on a free for all to compete mindlessly for a prize that is never really realized..... except in the small rinckless brains of the unwitting participants.........running...running...running..to claim the morsal that it hopes will feed a ravenous ego hunger....

I feel like a rat.....
A Mindless.....rat....

Running...............
We're Mindless running ego eaters....

This means the GOMOC thread can run till it's way into the tens of thousands.......

This ain't so bad. And since us NW's erners, have about 4 open threads, we have at least four times that number of post coming to us..... Groovy..

Its alive...its ALIVE!

Hey, it looks like we might get some viewing in tonight.
For sure Saturday...maybe I'll get a chance to test out those new EP's that have been collecting dust!

I think Mike is coming over to GOMOC tonight. I have to wait and hear back from him.

Yeah, you'd better get those EP's tested, or one day you might open up thier boxes, to find they crumbled to dust.
Time does that to stuff......
