Ed,

I just checked the Adorama prices and they are no longer on sale. However considering the features they have, the regular Adorama prices are still good prices.

As the post above stated, the list price in the ad is not the final price that shows up at check-out. But, that was July 23rd. maybe I got lucky for once. Naw. Couldn't happen.

I've only just had last night to open the box and have a look at them. They are indeed the Action Extremes.

Barry:

They are still on sale at Adorama. I learnt that if the "Buy Now" sign on the summary page for the products flash alternately in Red and Blue color or there is an underline below the stated price, then the actual sale price is lower.

I stand corrected. All the more reason for buying a pair now. This is a really good deal in a well designed and rugged pair of binoculars at an affordable price.

Ed,

Welcome back.

I look forward to another "expert" opinion on these binos, if indeed they are the " REAL Extremes".

This of course ,following clearer skies than I presume you had on your trip !

Regards from(North)East of the Pond,

Kenny.

Hi Tom
I just found these on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=50538&item=3833599607&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

I've been reading everything I can about binoculars, I would like to get a pair that I can throw into the saddlebags of my Harley and use for duel purpose.

This is very close to Adorama's price of $150 shipped also...I don't know anything about this company, but they seem to have a good reputation. I still have my hopes up for the Nikon 10x50 Extremes and have some on the way...I will give my impressions as soon as I get a chance to put them to work.

A harley, the coast, a good set of binocs...sounds like a good outing to me!!!

$139 is the lowest I've seen the AE 10X50. That's what I got mine for locally (they matched B&H). However the first sample was a dud. Make sure they have a good return/exchange policy!

I bought a sony video camera from them a couple of yours ago
and had problem with a adapter for an extra lens, they sent a replacement
without a hassle, but it was only worth about 10 bucks though.

Can anyone tell me who's got the cheapest price currently on the Nikon Action Extremes, (10 x 50's)?

I'm a newbie...and would also appreciate links to spec sheets.

I like the fact that they're waterproof.

Thanks for the consideration,
-Mike

Try Adorama

add to cart to see final price of $139.95

I've bought quite a bit of equipment from these guys, including this binocular. Shipping is reasonable.
