They are in new condition, I don't know when they were made; or if they came from China, but these are nice made binos. The coatings have almost no reflections. I had them outside today; they had bright, sharp views. Even in the bright sunlight, I didn't see any purple fringe. I am looking forward to seeing, how the do under the stars. The only thing that I am not sure of, is the ridge pop-up eyecups. I have never had a bino with that firm of an eyecup.
