Hi alls,
last summer I´ve made a shot of M13. Generally, a scan of a print serves as a template to show here in this forum.
Nowadays, I made some negative-scans with a new software, vuescan. It is an old version but the results are stunning:
M13 new
For comparison the print:
M 13 old
The resolution of the negativ-scan is better and especially star colors come out well.
Hardware was a conventional HP Scanjet 4010.
Hope you enjoy!

Ralf, I see what you mean, although the "ancientness" of the image is enhanced by the more-golden-than-usual star colors. the orangey-red star color of the one companion is quite perfect, and all this topped off with NGC 6207 at the bottom left !

Thank you Mark!
You´re right, it´s a little bit too yellow...
By the way, if you risk a sharp look, you´ll detect another dim galaxy, IC 4617.
I´ve marked it in this photo:
M13 with IC 4617
Hope to repeat this shot next year with my 12".
