I don't think it is light pollution because I have LP to the west. Here's a pick of the west into the LP with the same setup.

It could be, but its a bit orange. When was first twilight? Zodiacal light is well before twilight, and it usually get dark again just before twilight begins. It also usually is a quite narrow, angled along the ecliptic.
My shot of it is HERE. I'm not saying it isn't though - as I have little personal experience except for this one shot I grabbed at 0330 AM. Even the roosters started to crow as they thought the sun was coming up - but then after a 1/2 hour it got dark again.

Mike, I think it's LP. Zodiacal light has a more defined shape which follows, well, the zodiac.

Hmmm... Maybe the towns to the west use blue/white metal halide street lights and the towns to the east use amber high pressure sodium.
