Don't let the "small" 71mm objective of the Saturn II's fool you. The quality optics make it a very useful and versatile observing instrument. Certainly always amazed by the views that they provide.
The magnification ranges of 22x and 40x gives you more of a different viewing perspective with this binocular. Both mags give you a different look, but both are super sharp and vivid, and go surprisingly deep.
Have never regretted getting that binocular.

Thanks for the feedback on the Miyauchi 71mm vs. 77mm. Both seem like viable choices for me, in that they both seem pretty portable. The tradeoff seems to be some weight and some image quality vs. a small amount of aperture. I'm pretty sure I'd be delighted with either of them - either model sounds fantastic.
