Actually, considering the microbreweries up here, I would have to say yes...somewhere at a local dive. The commercial "microbreweries" probably can't get away with it.

Unfortunately, Echo, prices are higher in Europe, but at least we can get a decent beer.
LOL!! Victor's right!!
Tom, I've been to Oregon/Portland and the microbrewery beers were better than the regular beer, but it was 11 days before I found real beer in an Irish pub.

Does Guiness count as a real beer? It just took you too long to find the english pubs that are over on the east side of town!

I got on the wrong path Tom, I was following the Lewis and Clarke trail instead of the beer trail! I ended up in a square with lots of statues and the square was made of bricks which had people's names on it.I also found a science museum/centre by a large bridge, that was cool! I can't remember what it was called though, sorry for being so vague.

You found Pioneer Square (they have good concerts, beer fests, etc there) and the OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). I bought my Telrad at OMSI and my kids just love going there (we are members)

That's it, OMSI! Tom, that place was great, I'd love to be a member there!
