Hi,
Brayebrook Observatory used to have a website. But now it cannot be found in the Net. What had happened to it? website has closed down? or i had typed a wrong web address?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yep, http://www.brayebrookobservatory.org/ does appear to be down right now. Chris Lord frequents these forums. Maybe he'll let us know what's up.

I sent an e-mail to Chris Lord, his reply...
"My ISP changed business and deleted the site. I've maintained the domain registration but before I upload to a new host I intend redesigning the frames pages section which are old fashioned nowadays. I hope to get it done during the summer."
So it may be down for a while.

So I take it you will presumably be delighted to learn my observatory website is once again on-line. MadMacs my original webhost quit the business and having only a dial-up ISP account and a site server space of 215MB it was impractical uploading it to another server. Having now transferred to an 8Mbps broadband account it was a quick job getting it uploaded.
I've added some new articles (eyepiece articles accessible from index page, and forum articles #23 & #24), and am in the throws of redesigning the main pages and menus using Java scripts (which are presently doin my ead in).
I'm hoping one of you cloudy nights members can do me a favour. I wrote an eyepiece article for Astronomy Technology Today this Spring. I seem to be the only ATMer not to have read the edited version that appeared in the magazine, Vol.1 No.1. The editor promised me a free copy, but renaged on the agreement. If one of you has a copy I'd appreciate seeing a scanned pdf of it please.
