Anyone tried capturing video and saving/posting to utube?

This one is a movie of the Asteroid Vesta. While the video is only 2 seconds it took me 8 straight hours the capture.

This video is about 30 seconds long and covers the 45 minute flyby encounter of the asteroid 2006 VV2 which passed by Earth on 3/31/07.

I haven't posted to U-Tube, but I have hours of live video of Sun spots, Lunar and planetary viewing on DVD's. I burned the DVD's direct from the camera...great tool to show people\friends anytime you want and when its cloudy out and the scope\camera can't be used.

Video is how I typically record my Mallincam sessions. I record it to a MiniDV camcorder, and then later upload it to my desktop PC, where I grab still frames, like the ones in my avatar and personal gallery. I've never uploaded a video to YouTube.

I record direct to DVD and then use software to convert the DVD segments to AVIs for processing .
