That was a single frame, un-processed. Needless to say, the processed image is substantially better! I took it at 5000mm focal length with a ToUCam

Here are some frames from last night. It was at a very dark site, and I was with my asro club so I was somewhat distracted, and did not capture everything we visited. These are all single frames, and as always, the Speco CRT monitor looked 10 times better that these captures.

Thanks Chris! The site we went to was very dark, and not too far from home. It is now my home away from home. My highlight from last night was the Milky Way! It was very bright and lit up the whole sky.

What was the intergration time you used?
Did you use a FR?
And of course I'm assuming you used your 12" dob?

Hey Kerry, thanks for the comments. As far as the integration time, I have no idea? I was just pushing the camera till I saw what I liked. To tell you the truth, it's all a big blur right now. I was answering questions left and right. My astronomy club had never seen anything like this, and were overwhelmed! I was using the MFR-3 focal reducer, and was running around F/3.9. I used the Sparkcast player for both viewer, and capture software. Each object where I remembered to grab a frame on, I just hit CTRL E, and saved it to a folder.
Like I said before, this will be my new home away from home, and when the weather is nice on the weekends you'll find me out there. The best part is it's only 30 minutes away from my house!

Well I was out Saturday night getting ready to capture some images and..... My laptop took a dive....
So I was only able to capture using my 3.0 mp digital camera from the live images on my Speco.
All of these are live 56 second images, basic settings, using my LX200 12" GPS, MallinCam Color Hyper Plus, Mfr-3 and 20mm of spacers
