Brad,
I installed one of Rock's USB 2.0 adapters and hope to give it a try before going to Chiefland on the 2nd. If not, then I will have a week to try it out under dark skies.

Well this is my first light with the MallinCam Hyper Color. My turn to try M-42. Kind of shaky hard to steady on my deck, but to much snow. I can see how being on a steady base could make such a difference. This is a 6 second, single frame exposure, taken with my 10" on a EQ-5. Captured on my laptop. Would have tweaked it a bit but was kind of chilly at -14*C (7*F).
Now if I could figure out how to dim it down a bit and maybe get a little more detail

Very nice shot. Lots of detail. Keep playing with the setting and you will find which ones work best for your scopes.
Again a great shot.

Hey Gavin - very nice images. I know they look really good on your monitor. I especially like OC and 5128. Thanks for sharing those southern hemisphere nuggets!

Thanks Ron.
Rock kindly tweaked some of the images in PhotoShop as I have too much red. His tweaked images look a lot better than the ones I posted here. If the weather holds I'll try turning down the red a little.

As I stated in my previous post, I posted my non-tweaked images and not Rock's tweaked images. I merely mentioned that Rock emailed me tweaked versions of my images, which look a lot better, just so people know that there's definitely room for improvement.
