i have an old milo with a eq mount, any ideas on a drive motor that would mate with the spur gear? i know its a long shot

To figure the gear type, if you can get a boston gear catalog will help you in the right direction.

Also the RoboScopes YahooGroups forum might be a good resource. Chris Erickson (also from Alaska) is an EE who moderates the group, and I think that guy could turn a George Foreman grill into a GOTO mount.
