I always say YES when asked about Daylight Savings Time, b/c in TN we use it, but then I started thinking, does it mean do we USE DST? or are we ON DST? And now, what does the question mean? The reason I ask is my new ETX80 slews pretty good, but it always a LITTLE off... could this be something to do with it? This may be a beginner question, so pls move if need be, but it was specific to my ETX, my only GOTO! thanks fellas, and ladies ! I thought it was a dumb question as the thing asked for my zip code -- you figure it out! I just said yes and figured it would calculate +-1 hour as necessary. I was ready to punt my ETX125 over the fence since my alignment failed and my gotos sucked. As I laid in bed I thought about it and wondered... Yep, are we IN DST at the moment... The train drives teaches the controller what kind of play to expect when goto-ing and increases accuracy. Might do that -- as I have no idea at all what I'm on here, and my centering is just a little off.
