Just starting to view but this jumped out of scope the second I viewed!...Of course I can't sketch to scale when I see that much detail...
I just can't comfy standing or sitting outside in 15 degree weather, even with no wind so I had to view thru window, again...As soon as my eye hit the EP I noticed the large fan shaped wall of plasma on the NNE limb...That should make for some nice images!...Surface detail is really cut down when I view thru the window so I'm not sure I got everything...

I tried to, again, to view outdoors, I lasted about 5 minutes in which time I sketch the big prom and AR, than I had to finish thru the window again...

Saw the same around 1930 UT, but as the sun is low at 53 North I only had about an hour to be free of horizon clutter, impressive though at on point I suspected a complete loop.

Stephen, I used to wrap a big blanket around me for sessions with that kind of temps or less. It really helped if you don't mind looking a bit silly.
Great observations. I saw that one on Greg's image today.

That's a fine report Stephen. A lot of cold air around but this weekend it's suppose to warm up a bit. Nothing wrong with window viewing...

Oh yeah! I love it and already to move up in magnification or clarity, if I can figure out what will give me one or the other...
And Erika, I sit out there now with a towel over my head, I can't look any sillier and I have more cows watching me than people!...LOL
