It is no secret I enjoy barred galaxies. I had been trying to get to this one ever since it was written up in S&T but something always delayed my observing period so the object was too low to get an unobstructed view at our observing site. It was a cold clear night last night, and I was ready early enough to get nice period to enjoy the view and sketch. The link takes you there if you are interested.
