The Wanderers 1970s and 1980s new
      #2090486 - 01/02/08 04:55 PM

I have a pile of The Wanderers from the 1970s and 1980s and Guy Ottewell's Astronomical Calendars from the same time period. Is anyone familiar with these? Would these be of interest to any astronomical groups or societies? I thought about listing them in Shop and Swap. They are interesting pieces of history. I found some stuff to be neat to look back to and see what was being said about the probes and new discoveries. Titan was regarded as a place that will surely receive future attention and exploration.

I'll confess my ignorance.

Never heard of it. Sounds interesting though.

What are the Wanderers? (Comets? Magazines? Comet Magazines?)

Here's some pictures to accompany my previous words. Mike, I think you are on the right track as it must be a reference to Solar System bodies. Each month's calendar has star charts and different illustrations/graphics for Solar System body placements. Additionally, all of the illustrations look to be done with scratchboarding and are not woodcuts or pen-and-ink.
