My question is which filter and what size should I be looking for. I use an 8" sct with an f6.3 f/r, an ED80 for widefield (no reducer) and an XT to capture the light. I see filter sizes in the 1.25 and 2" range and am not sure where it would be applied/threaded in the optic train. You have to check your specific gears to find a 2" female thread for the filter to fit.
