Ideal spot for Telrad ?? new
      #2098718 - 01/05/08 02:46 PM

Just finished looking at the "Show of your LX,RCX setup" thread from start to finish
And was wondering if there is a ideal spot to mount a Telrad on a 14". Seen them mounted on the front near the corrector plate or at the back by the focuser and on either side and in the middle. Could you please tell me the pros and cons of where you mounted yours. And any regrets you may of had after you mounted one.

Back, middle (top) unless there's a guide scope there, then centered on the screws where the finder would go if it were on that side.

Only thing to watch is that it clears the fork arms. The 90° position might not work so well.
