It was another pleasant night to play with the SV102ED but also warm enough to sketch at the eyepiece.

I third the comments above. A reasonably dark sky will give you this well drawn view at the eyepiece of this galaxy pair. Very nice Roland.

Thanks all. It is fun to be spoiled with wide field of view with the f6.95 102mm refractor. It is certainly not an uncommon view except that I am usually on a scope you have to nudge to get one at a time. Roland

An excellent observation of M81 and M82 in the same field of view. This is exactly how they look through the eyepiece field. Thank you for sharing this with us all.
