Here are two shots of Comet Holmes. One in November and the other taken Dec 31. Same camera/telescope setup.

This is the November shot.

Wow Dwight that is quite an interesting comparison. The last time I looked at the comet through the scope was in your first image (although I have seen it naked eye more recently). Great images too!

Are they the same exposure length? If not, that would explain the size difference.
