ADD TO the Lighting Code Presentation new
      #2131873 - 01/19/08 06:21 PM

If you have a completed document or handout that can be used to present the case for a shielded lighting code. Post it up on the Lighting Code Presentation ---- with permission to use and copy it, and or alter it.

Personally I would like to see several different types of presentations posted here for CN members to use with their local town council or city council.

This is a great discussion forum! After reading several of the posts I did a little digging and was pleased to find out that a few municipalities in British Columbia had passed light pollution amendments to their bylaws and official community plans.

Thought I would share a link so you could see what some places have done. Might also spur you to get involved at the local level. Here in BC there is a review process to our official community plans and I think I am going to talk to our local AS to see if we can make a presentation.

I would be interested in seeing them--- however you probably need to allow them to be copied, altered, and-or changed since by posting them no one can guarantee to you that they will not be altered by someone in the future? to make them more applicable to their local town council or city council.

Just curious why "I would not like them altered" ????
