Where to purchase new flip down mirror for a new ET new
      #2161955 - 02/01/08 11:51 PM

I purchased a new EX70 4 years ago . Being new to telescopes i read the instructions and was thoroughly confused so i carefully put it in my cupboard for 4 years wrapped up with tons of cloth . A couple of days ago i decided to have a look at it again . I now understand the manual and thought i will soon use it . But . After a thorough examination I found a very large deep scratch about 1/4 ' long in the centre of the flip mirror .It must have been on it brand new . Could anybody tell me where i could purchase a new flip mirror and how hard is it to replace . I am sure the warranty is over . I only wish i new there were forums for this series telescopes 4 years ago . Thank you , Alan Monro .

Meade ETX 90 UHTC, 497 Autostar, 884 tripod, right angle finder.

CALIBRATE MOTORS and TRAIN DRIVES!
