I'm suspecting that I will have to send the unit back to Meade to have it recolliminated before selling. Or I might give the scope to my young nephew as-is - optically it doesn't appear to be far off and he might be able to get a few years of service out of the scope. Opinions? Perhaps mine was misaligned more than yours. Anyways...Meade charged $75.00 for the service and I can honestly say that the optics are now razor sharp.
