Dear everybody,
I'm really curious what do you think of the Celestron UpClose 12x50, and the UpClose 10x50 binoculars.
Are they worth they price? Are they good for the basic astronomical observations?
Thanks for the answers.

Hi, welcome to Binoculars. There's not much info on these; the Celestron website shows them as having BK7 prisms and "fully coated" optics. They are a wide field design. The 12x appears to be discontinued.

At their VERY low price point I wouldn't expect a lot from them but ANY binocular is usually better than no binocular at all! Most inexpensive wide field binoculars have poor edge performance but the views may still be satisfactory for you. If you like what you see, moving up to a better binocular in the future is always an option.
The Celestron Skymaster series have the better BaK4 prisms and claim full multicoating but don't come in 10x50 or 12x50.
The main thing is to get out and enjoy the sky!
