The first time I heard about the successor of the Hubble space telescope, the James Webb telescope, I remembered the launch was scheduled for sometime in 2007-2008. Few weeks ago I saw on the net that it was now scheduled for 2011. Now 2013...! Oh well, hopefully it will be good to go as soon as it is up there (this time).

In the meantime, you should come here in Versailles see our new highway (which will free us from traffic jams, pollution and spherical aberration). It will be finished very soon - late 1996, early 1997 at worst!

Well, as long as they can service the HST in the meantime so we always have at least one scope operational up there...
