Maybe a new sunspot on its way ?
Sun @ 3000mm Orion 80ED & Canon DSLR, some nice proms at the limb.

Nuttin but rain here too, great capture!...SW hints that one may be emerging...

Great picture of Comet Holmes on SW as well!! That was a kewl phenomena to see, when we could with the naked eye here...

I just got a 30 second view, but that lil spot of plage off west limb seems to have grown...Hoping for longer view for a sketch...

That's the green dye in my eyes.
No that's how it appears in the eyepiece with the welders glass as a filter

I'm using the Canon 20D set to B&W now.

Clearskies...nice work!...is the detail primarily from the continuum filter? I was under the impression they weren't all that great...appears I may have been mislead lol...I have a new H-A filter but have been unable to try it out as the clouds moved in 1/2 hr before it arrived I thought about the continuum but I figured the HA can be used for other stuff as well thanks!
