Braving the winds. new
      #2245716 - 03/09/08 09:48 AM Attachment (18 downloads)

Had to move the clock ahead an hour(how stupid). The westerly winds were howling all night and blew away all of the Jersey pollution, the seeing was good even though I still have 25 to 35 mph winds from the West.Plenty to see on the limb, not much on the disk.

Great sketch, captured what I just saw! A few hours to your south down here, it's equally blustery with mediocre seeing, but nice & clear. Low power views are best...

Nice bunch of proms!

Sunny skies,

Jim

Thanks for the report, Ralph.

Been a few weeks since I last used my PST. Not too bad observing outside in short sleeves.
