Since...On several notes...we have a new crop of enthusiastic posting members, and that this thread has been given its second wind....I'll not feal overly pushy if I post an image of my classic scopes at their home at...Gold Mtn Observing Center. In Washington state.
Rob
Hey Rob, Those scopes look just like the scopes up on the front page of the Classic Catalogs web site! http://geogdata.csun.edu/~voltaire/classics/ Who made the objectives? Thanks!

Hey...they do..
Thanks for the respectful consideration Robert. I am vey moved by your addition of my scopes.
The objective of the 6"f/15 is the last objective of the now famous and master optician Arthur Devany...Of Northrup fame.
I hate to point out things, when I am being so appreciative...but the smaller scope is an f/6.5..
I gave your link to several people in the S.Cal, area aerospace industry. They enjoyed it. One was my father.
Thanks Robert

Catalin: The test results indicate you have a pair of exceptional scopes! I hope you can post a photo or two, if you can! I bet they look as nice as their spot diagrams!
gts055: Whew! Great scope! The mount is a real eyecatcher, too! Thanks for posting!

After posting the "wordy" first light report, I decided to post a pic of the scope with the RA finder I purchased. I really like the scope and am pleased with its performance.

@NGC6475 : the pictures of the scopes and mount I use are on page 15...just a little above the spot diagrams. They are 2 CF tubes on a grey mount :-).
@jtpowers1972 : I have a picture of the 76mm lens here at Bucharest in my laptop...but for the 130mm you have to wait until I go back in Alexandria , where I keep the setup (closer to dark skies :-)) ) I hope I get it right and you didn't mean the OTA's pictures :-)

Terrific scope, Tom. I used to have one of these wonderful refractors before I traded it for my 6" Mak. The FS-102 is a fine instrument and I still miss my old scope!
