Hopefully my next post will be with a mount. Hoping to get one very soon. Until then here is another one of my antares 1300mm grounded...
Nifty. Very Unitrony.

Impressive set-up! I'd like to think that I'll eventually build toward something similar ...
Why not? I already have the 50mm SV finder! Gorgeous rig!

The DM-6 weighs about 16 pounds--almost the same as the TEC140. Together, they make a great combo for visual.

I finally have a refractor and a REAL mount. This all happened yesterday, still waiting for first light. Can't wait for some wide-field targets this summer!
Really, really beautiful setup!

Just received my TSA102 mounted on EM11 temma mount. First light Saturday I hope :-) Even my wife says it looks good. So much stuff and so little time.

Thanks everybody for the nice words. I see a couple of you guys have Obsessions--I hope to step up to one of those one day when I grow up.
Rich--Yes, this rig sets up fast and easy. I'm too lazy and impatient to fool around with a GEM for visual observing. The ATS pier and DM6 pop together in seconds and work terrifically. I have the TEC stored in its aluminum transport case, with rings, dovetail plate, and Stellarview finderscope attached. The finderscope is mounted on the TEC bracket (which is a really slick design by the way) and stays attached to the scope and so far has stayed in pretty good alignment. I pull the scope out, pop the dovetail into a tilt-in saddle on the Discmount, tighten the captive knobs, add a diagonal, and I'm ready to roll. Plus, the oil-spaced objective usually cools down within 10-15 minutes most nights. Almost, but not quite, a grab-n-go. Well... as close as you get to one with a 5.5 inch refractor

How did you manage to take a pic of YOUR scope in MY kitchen? Those tiles look very familiar .
Anyway, very nice scope, the new Equinox/EON scopes look very nice IMO.

Finally decided after running three threads on the topic...two here, one on AM. The TSA-102 won out. Put my Z66APO on top so rich field is always handy. At the ready in the tray and on the diagonals: 40Paragon, 24 Hyperion, 7-6-5-4mm Planetaries.

Dave, I hope you didn't have the same builders/kitchen installers as I had. Seeing all these lovely Tak's and Tec's is bad for one mental/wallet health.
