Okay, here's my new pride and joy, a red Tasco 66TE, made in Japan. That's not the original finderscope, it's an antique too. I'm pretty sure it's much older than the scope itself. For 50mm aperture, darned good performer on the Moon and planets!

Great looking scope David. I agree 50-60mm can really do great on the planets and moon. Thats why I enjoy using my Cometron so much.

Not the best picture but you can get the idea.

It's a C80ED with an AgenaAstro adapter and GSO focuser upgrade. Now the focuser matches the optics on this guy.

Amazing.I had the best views with my 11mm Nagler and 8mm Stratus. So 107x and 147.5x. I had several moments of good seeing that allowed me to use my 6mm B/TMB(196x).

Hi David!

That 66TE is an amazing performer for a 50mm.

You should call it the "Christmas Scope" - nice color combo!

Today I received a call from my local 'scope shop, informing me that my Atlas mount had finally arrived. I drove there immediately after work and discovered not only had my mount arrived, but also my Megrez 110 was back from repairs at WO! While I'd love to rave about the Atlas mount, that could probably be saved for a different forum.

However I wanted to take a picture of my refractors now that my baby is back and the team is assembled (though there is a SV80 NG in my very near future)

Megrez 110ED, ZS66 Apo, and my new Orion 100ED with a WO Focuser.
