Phil,
sweet looking mount , and scopes aren't bad either. The 115 looks surprising big next to the 90.
What is the plate you are using to mount the 115? The rings look about 12 inches apart.

Thanks Myles. I'm pretty happy with the mount AND the scopes. That SV115 has just about the most perfect optics I've ever looked through. And doesn't that stardust blue F50 look cute too?
That's a 15" ADM plate. I've still got about an inch or so of space I could move the rings out if I wanted to so your guess of 12" is probably right on.

Okay, Frank. How did you get that 102ED in blue? They only offer it in white on their website. I've been thinking of getting one, but i'd much rather have the blue than white. (Sorry for those that enjoy white, but it's just too bland for me)
And yes, that is one beautiful scope.

The Stardust Blue is my favorite of the Stellarvue options was well. Simply stunning. I will say that the Stardust White is very nice too.

Phil, is that the "new" 115 or the Russian 115?
(It's pretty either way....)

Hi Forrest, I guess I was just lucky, at the right place at the right time. I ordered the scope a couple weeks after the initial offering last summer. At the time SV said they would make some in Stardust Blue but it would take longer to complete and ship. At the time the extra wait was a bit painful as 102EDs were being shipped and the internet was full of glowing reports. SV offered to send a white one right away but I waited. I learned from Vic Maris that 6 Stardust Blue 102EDs were made. On the SV Yahoo group Vic gave an explanation as to why they are only offered in white which seems to make sense from a manufacturing point of view. There are others like you who wish he would make more in Stardust Blue. I feel it is a signature color for SV. Who know maybe??? Frank

I think i'll swipe yours, then!
Oh well, i was leaning towards an 80ED anyway, i want a grab n go setup and still haven't decided what i want, except that it will likely be an SV.
Everyone keep posting the nice pics, even if i can't have them, i can drool over them!

Hi Tom,
That's the Russian or "SV115 Classic". Hard to believe but it looks even better when you look through it.

I don't know why I keep coming to this thread.
Now I think I have to keep my CR150HD (I had finally decided to sell it and the money was already earmarked) and just "upgrade" it, thanks to some of the great work done on scopes seen on this thread.
Oh well.
