After installing them which is a breeze I found the mount no longer flexes. They're well made, especially considering their low price of $79. And they come with a nice metal tray that can be lifted off allowing the tripod to be easily folded for storage. Using a 5mm eyepiece I let Floyd go to town. Result: Far less vibration when focusing. I think it went from several second of shaking to about a second and a half.
