Worm drive new
      #2296672 - 04/01/08 04:25 AM

Hello,
Not about what you are expecting. How do I drive out worms! I emptied my compost box just outside my nice shiny new observatory. It rained overnight and next morning I found the observatory infested with worms all over the carpet and climbing up the walls! Hope I haven't put you off your breakfast.

I think that they dont like electricity. How about one wire on the wall, ca. 5cm above ground and the other pole to the ground and then connect low voltage between the wires (24V max.). My uncle had some electrical equipment tahat he used to pick up worms when he went fishing and the worms "jumped" in to his tackle box.

Call in for a flock of Robins to do the dirty work.

Kaizu,
I'd probably electrocute myself instead of the worms.

Manny,
I can't, there is a bullying blackbird that beats up any other birds smaller than him if they try to feed in my garden.

Bruce,
Good idea.

Karen,
YEUCH!

Nytecam,
Good point, but I didn't even realise the date when I posted. The lowlife are for real. Fortunately there have only been a few more.

A little salt? It works on slugs.

I find that salt makes slugs way too chewy for me, saute them in a little extra virgin olive oil and a bit of minced garlic. Put them on crusty french bread for an appetizer or over pasta for a main dish.
