I'm in big trouble now! new
      #2219107 - 02/25/08 10:23 PM

Hello everyone, just wanted to let everyone know that I went ahead and bought the Orion 80ED with the SVP mount and intelliscope upgrade kit and the true track dual-axis drive. Still hasn't arrived yet, but when it does hopefully the doghouse will be nice and warm. Can you guys give me a list of bright or easy DSO's that I could start looking for. Thanks, Robert.

M42 is always a great starter object. Bright and interesting.

Enjoy your new accomodations

Cheers,
Suk

M44 and M45 are also nice. When summer rolls around the whole Sagatarius/Scorpius area is just wonderful, though you may end up doing mosaics.
