My first ever attempt as real astrophotography. Unfortunately the seeing was pretty bad. This is the first time I've ever had a camera connected to a telescope. An interesting experience to say the least!
With how large Jupiter shows, I can't wait for better seeing, the detail will be fantastic!
Scope: Nexstar 8SE Camera: Canon T3i at prime focus, using a barlow.
This was minimally processed and then cropped.

Actually, i guess the following would be my first ever photo (that wasn't complete trash anyway). This is from 2008, taken by holding an ancient 3 megapixel digital camera to the eyepiece of an 8" dobsonian.

This truly is my first astrophotography image. I jumped in with both feet and bought all the equipment I need to start imaging. I had a lot of fun figuring this all out. No regrets here! This image of the Orion Nebula was take with a Canon Rebel T3i 18MP, Orion 10” Astrograph, Atlas mount. Photo’s 4x45s light, 4x45s dark. Stack with Deep Sky Stacker and processed on PS CS5.1… I would really like to improve my skills, so please make suggestion. Thanks

Here's my first where I didn't have stars smeared into obvious line paths. Did my best guess for the NCP, and it's a single 30 second shot not processed. I'll have to try it again when there's no moon!

Here's my first image. I am using a C14 on a GM-200 unguided and a 20Da with a Starizona SCT corrector that brings things to f/7.5. Its about 30 seconds.

this is a little clearer than what i've been getting. my canon apparently focuses past infinity so i can't just crank the focus all the over. got to sneak up on it. i fiddled with this in photoshop elements with the sharpen thing and the levels. maybe sharpened a little too much, but at least it's in focus.

Well, here's my first...saying that they are less than spectacular would be generous lol.
I just rigged an equatorial wedge for my telescope, but I don't know how to do any image stacking yet and the equatorial drive doesn't seem to be adequate for any exposure over about 60 seconds without some manual compensation.
These were taken using my Celestron Nexstar 11 GPS with a f6.3 reducer and a Canon 60D. ISO4000 for ~45seconds for Andromeda ISO2400 for 30seconds for Orion Nebula
