I brought a co-worker camping with me last week and showed him a telescope for the first time in his life. After looking at Saturn and a few choice DSO's I Polar Aligned the scope and let him take a photo.
I focused and framed the Eta Carinae nebula, found a guidestar and showed him how to make corrections. Here's his 30 minutes of fame - the very first astro pic he has ever took. Guiding not bad for a first timer! Next time I'll stick a Barlow in and he should have much better quality!
