How does something like this sound for the forum description?
"A place to discuss meteorites, tektites/impactites, and other aspects of meteoritics. Theories on origins, parent bodies, chemistry, and impact craters are also on the table for discussion. This is also a place to share photos of your space-rock collection. Newbies are welcome - don't be afraid, we all have rocks in our head here!"

If it falls on me, I hope it's nakhlite or shergottite. So if I recover from the wounds, I'll be rich.

By the way, Mike, since you were a driving force in getting a separate forum, when do you rate the little "M" by your name? Seems logical to me!

I had that little "M" for a while. The benefits are great, but the pay stinks.

BTW, meteorites is mispelled "Metorites" in the forum description. I noticed this a couple of days ago, meant to bring it up, then forgot. Now I just noticed it again.
