It was hard to imagine him as being that old. He always seemed "contemporary"!

Too bad the obit is gone. Johnny Wheeler was a big inspiration to me as a teenager. What a briliant man.

Feynman too never stopped trying to visualize what was happening with the double slit experiment. It may be beyond the capacity of the human mind.

When you live to be that old I wonder if you are surprised at your passing. If you are a physicist I wonder if your faith in logic is shakened by having hung around too long.

Great man. I think it's telling that so many scientists live until they are in their 90's. I attribute it to loving what they do, but that's only a guess.
