i was broadcasting on y live, and ustream. second day or so, occasionally when i went to broadcast it would say windows has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. so every day its gotten worse and now i cannot broadcast at all. i tink if it was my settings, i would not have broadcast at all. any ideas? thanks.

I am stumped, is it on YLive AND ustream? You may want to run a program that cleans your computer, I have RegCure and PareToLogic and they seemed to have helped my system.

You also might want to update you adobe flash. All of these sites are running up to date flash, and I think the current one is 9.0 or something. Just google the download, and see.

I had this happen to me when my sound drivers became corrupted. The flash viewer can't set any of the real camera settings, so use something else, like VirtualDub to get the camera working properly before broadcasting.
Good luck.

Thought I would jump in here, there are several things that may cause this behaviour, Of course using the latest Flash is the most important but Adobe highly recommends uninstalling the old Flash using thier uninstaller priot to updating. Their is a known issue with some Mac's and OSX but the latest release supooedly fixes it. The most common cause of strange behaviour is some of the newer spyware and adware which can cause havoc with Flash. So make sure your adware ids up to date. if any veiwer has problems feel free to post in the message board, visit the Ustream Users COmmunity Forum on Mondays and Fridays 7:30 pm Cst or email me at ustreamtech@ustream.tv, Godd luck and Good Star hunting!
