For those of us in other time zones can the interviews be put on youtube or the like after? I would like to see them but due to Shabbat and the time difference I probably won't get to see most of it live.

Hi Zach...
Yes. We will be recording all the interviews too... they will either be posted here on Cloudy Nights or on YouTube.

It seems like it would be appropriate to use a ToUcam for the webcast.

The live webcast is nice with the exception of the extremely loud bells going off everytime someone enters, leaves or posts in the chat room.If I turn up the volume to hear the webcam I jeopardize my hearing.Anyway around this problem? Can I turn off the chat and just watch and hear the webcam?

I've tried and failed a few times, always with the same results: the "Connecting" message is displayed for about three minutes, then "Video Chat session has closed". I am using XP Pro and have tried with FF2 and IE6.
Anyone know a way around this? Maybe their capacity has been exceeded.

I have had no problems. It's been good, until Tom was about to do an impromptu interview with Barbara Wilson when the whole lot crashed.

The interview with Barbara Wilson was great. She's one of my observing heroes and it was nice to hear an interview about the purely visual side of things.
Thanks to Tom, Steph and everyone at CN for the NEAF broadcasts, I have been listening since 3.30 pm (British Summer Time) and have enjoyed every minute.
