Our family visited the American Museum of Natural History in NYC on 4/20. Of interest to this forum, they have a Hall of Meteorites, as well as the Willamette meteorite from Oregon on display at the Rose Center for Earth and Space. I didn't get to spend an enormous amount of time in the hall, but here are a few pictures I managed to get:
The Hall of Meteorites

Ahnighito, the largest chuck of the Cape York meteorite that landed in Greenland, clocks in at 34 tons. They say its the largest meteorite on display at a museum.

Nice photos Greg! Thanks for sharing them. I need to see that exhibit one day.

Breaking news-a gang of meteorite terrorists, lead by Michael Gilmer and the internet forum CNs, were arrested today....................................... Homeland Security is currently at Astronomics in Norman OK investigating the organization of over 20000 members..........................
