Here is a program that I use which is completely free and guaranteed to be free of popups or any other bad stuff! www.faststone.org They are a research company that produces free software to benefit everyone. I am in no way connected to them, just find their resizing software easy and fast to use and FREE!

I've found that you can resize using Picture Project, the software I received with the D70s. Simply go;
File
Export JPEG
change image size on the pop up window and
Export
m
Forgot to say that I am using macs, but the software should also work for windows as well.
