Telescope Reviews: Another Washington Post article on LT

Two pages of a good read on a ironic source of Light Trespass in Washington, DC. Community members have the hots these "Washington Globe" styled street lights for their quaint yesteryear look, unlike the typical Cobra-style lights. But they forget that those lamps of yesteryear had only a small gas flame in their day, not a 150W HPS bulb. Oops.

I live outside of DC and have seen the light fixtures referenced... they're terrible. They are indeed the visual equivalent of someone blasting their stereo at all hours.
